Rachel Maxwell

Meet Rachel Maxwell. Rachel is a kind hearted person that helps everyone she can including her community.  She is a current member/volunteer of a K9 Search and Rescue Team in her community.  She volunteers at local schools demonstating outdoor safety and the Hug-A-Tree program plus many other community outreach programs.  Rachel was diagnosed with Stage 4 Thyroid cancer several weeks ago that had spread into her Lymph Nodes in her neck.  She under went an 8 hour surgery to try to remove the cancerous cells but the doctors were unable to remove it all but it was down graded to Stage 3.  Radiation treatment will begin this week to try and eraticate the rest of the cancerous cells located in her neck and other parts of her body.  Unfortunately she does not have disability insurance or vacation time to insure an income during this trying time.  The doctors will not release her to go back to work until the treatment is complete and she is almost out of savings.  Rachel does have insurance that has starting refusing the claims for her testing and treatment so that is an added expense to a houshold with NO income.   Please help this sweet girl as she never asks anyone for help and is always doing for others.
