Race Expenses-National Championship

Hi, my name is Clay Howarth and I'm a 23-year-old aspiring  professional trail/mountain runner. I just placed 6th at the Mountain Running National Championship in June against some of the best runners in the world, all of whom were older and more experienced. In November, I will be traveling to Moab, UT, for the Trail Marathon National Championship, where my goal is to place in the top-3. I also seek to make a US national team next year.  I'm trying to raise money to help pay for race expenses and gear, as I currently am not sponsored by any large companies and the trips can quickly add up. Race prize money is sparse and hard to find. I also have over $80,000 in student debt, which makes the financial burdens of competition more difficult to cover. I'm one or two competitions away from being truly "discovered," as they say, which should allow me to garner some big name sponsorships. I'm thankful to anyone who would help me reach my running goals via donations of any size, and my gratitude will never expire.
