<div>Someone broke into our storage shed and stole property valued at almost $5K. The act was deliberate, evidenced by the necessity of a particular type of saw to cut through the deadbolt. The storage location is challenging to access which also demonstrates intent. A police report was filed, but insurance does not cover this loss.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What is especially disheartening is that the stolen property is not just used for Unleashed at Stadium Bowl. Every month, Kindred Souls Foundation provides free pet food, core vaccines, flea medication, de-wormer, nail trims and spay/neuter vouchers to seniors, domestic violence survivors, low-income people, and people living in sheltered homelessness. Most of the stolen items are used for our outreach work and events that help us find volunteers and collect donations for our 501c3.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With your help, we hope to raise enough money to replace these items:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>• <strong>Tents w/accessories: value $2954</strong>
</div>
<div><em> x12 (10x10) tents that were brand new - 2yrs old, tent sides, tent enclosure cubes, and tent weights</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How they are used for Unleashed: Tents are used for identifying field locations such as medics, packet pick up, awards, etc. and provide protection from the heat or rain.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How they are used for Kindred Souls Foundation: When the weather is wet or too hot, we use tents to provide protection for our volunteers, the pets and the owners. We use a ‘cube’ enclosure around the tent so that pets do not escape while they are being examined and treated. Tents keep the free pet food bags dry while people wait to receive it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>• <strong>Wagons: value $309 </strong>
</div>
<div><em>x3 (1 @ 800# capacity + 2 @ 265# capacity)</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How they are used for Unleashed: Since we cannot drive on the track or field, wagons are used to move items from the track to their spot on the field.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How they are used for Kindred Souls Foundation: Wagons allow us to take multiple bags of food, litter, and supplies to distribute in multi-level buildings for seniors and low-income families.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>•<strong> Two-way radios: value $1000 </strong>
</div>
<div><em>x30 two-way radios + master chargers</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How they are used for Unleashed: Safety is always the priority. We make sure we have enough radios dispersed between our Unleashed safety volunteers, medics, race marshals, and Leads.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How they are used for Kindred Souls Foundation: Teams of volunteers go out to each site. At some point during the visit, volunteers separate while making their deliveries within the buildings/complexes. For safety purposes, they use 2-way radios set to the same channel. This allows everyone to know where each other is at the same time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>• Weighted Vests: value $715</strong>
</div>
<div><em>x11 weighted (20#-40#) vests </em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ok, these are not used outside of the Heroes Race at Unleashed at Stadium Bowl! We have a few cats in the Foundation who believe they can outrun our Heroes Teams with those vests on, but we will never know since they were stolen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The stolen items are vital to Unleashed at Stadium Bowl and Kindred Souls Foundation. We hope that you will help us raise enough to purchase replacements. Thank you so much for your consideration!
