Michael Flores Memorial Fund

On December 30, 2020 my aunt Debbie lost the love of her life, Michael. They were together for over thirty years. When he left this world he also left behind his beloved daughter, Bailey. The three of them were incredibly close. The past five years saw some of their most joyous memories, including the moment when my uncle  made the decision to come to Christ. 

2020 hit everyone hard, but this tragedy is significant. In October Bailey felt increasing pain in her arm, and learned she had a blood clot that required surgery. Thankfully Bailey made a full recovery. During Covid Michael was laid off from his job as a pipe fitter and welder. As you can imagine finances grew tight between the medical costs and lack of income. Finally, at the end of 2020, all three family members contracted the Covid-19 virus. Debbie and Bailey recovered but Michael did not. He was admitted in the hospital after two weeks of fighting the virus at home. After almost six weeks of fighting as hard as he could to heal Michael passed away with Debbie, Bailey and his doctor by his side.
