The Grand Challenge: Help Us Make Hand Sanitizer

In challenging times we must all rethink how we can use our skills and tools to contribute to our community.
It is in this spirit that we launch The Grand Challenge, a digital fundraiser with one simple goal, to raise as much money as possible to produce industrial amounts of sanitizer for frontline local and state agencies fighting COVID19.
With the closure of bars and restaurants around the Midwest we simply do not have the resources to create this unprecedented amount of sanitizer alone - and that is the challenge. It is going to take an entire community to help us transition fully into the production of hand sanitizer as quickly as possible.
We already have requests for thousands of gallons of this scarce product and with your help we intend to fulfill every one of these orders and then some! We have already provided hundreds of gallons to agencies like Traverse City Public Safety, Traverse City Fire, and Munson Medical Center.
In 2005 Grand Traverse Distillery set forth on a challenge to pioneer Michigan's grain-to-bottle craft spirit industry and by the support of our community we have done just that. Fifteen years later we are faced with a bigger task, The Grand Challenge.
As always we will rise to the occasion. We invite you once again to come along for the ride.
