Help mouse walk again

Thanksgiving and my family often do not jive well... And the pattern continues this Thanksgiving.

Our beloved Mouse (often spotted at WDL greeting everyone and absorbing pets) has had a rough day today. He had a disease that degenerates his spines support discs and one has slipped to a point where he will need surgery in order to walk again. He showed no signs of discomfort or problems until today, where he simply was unable to use his back legs.

I don't like asking for anything but Mouse means the world to me and to give him the best chance of recovery he will be in surgery in the next day or so.

If you are able to assist in any way I would greatly appreciate it. His expenses are expected to be between 7 and 9000 dollars.
