<div>Caleb has been fighting leukemia since February 2024, and in the past few weeks, his situation has become more urgent. While preparing for a bone marrow transplant, he suddenly went into blast crisis—a dangerous and aggressive surge in leukemia cells that requires immediate intervention. Instead of moving forward with the transplant as planned, Caleb is now facing three weeks of intensive IV chemotherapy to stabilize his condition. After that, he’ll need a three-week recovery window before doctors can attempt the transplant that will give him the best chance at long-term survival.

<div>This unexpected setback means months of heightened medical care, an extended hospital stay, and a much longer road to recovery. Caleb will be unable to work during this time as he will be hospitalized for months. Amy will be unable to work as she focuses on Caleb’s health and providing stability and some sense of normalcy for Gavin and Samantha. They’re giving everything they have to this fight, but the financial strain of such a critical medical crisis is too heavy for one family to bear.
