On May 8th, 2021, Mother’s Day weekend, Leticia and her family went through a devastating fire at their house. Everyone is safe, but their house and belongings were badly damaged. They are currently staying with family as they try to pick up the pieces.

 

As many of you know, Leticia is an absolutely incredible person. She has touched so many people throughout her time at Discovery Tree. She is such a kind-hearted, caring woman. Through all of this, she has continued to show up daily for the children in her care. She truly is the backbone of Discovery - Tree H Street.

 

Victims of fires face tremendous emotional stress and financial costs, and we are hoping to bring them some peace of mind while recovering from this devastating situation. We are grateful for any donations.
