Santa needs your help!

As embarrassing as this is for me, I have no other place to turn to for help I am desperate, I need help in the worst kind of away! I spent the majority of my retirement, a 401(k) plan, taking care of my parents, and my wife's parents! It was the right thing to do and we have no regrets for what we were able to do! I had a sister but she wouldn't help (but in her defense she lived in another state! But she didn't work either! One of her two daughters did help by taking Mom on some weekends ) and the full burden was left on us to take care of Mom and Dad! My wife also had a sister but her health was so bad she wasn't able to help either! She has since died! Our daughter helped from high school until mother died! I do not know what we would have done without her!
My father-in-law lived with us for five years and died in our home! He was in poor health due to heart problems! My mother, who had Alzheimer's, lived with us almost two years and also died in our home! Mom was by far the most expensive because she had to have 24 hour care! We had to hire sitters so we could get some rest! When my wife was sick I had to take her to adult daycare at a cost of $50 per day! For those of you that haven't been around someone with Alzheimer's they can go for days and nights without sleep! One time she was up for four days and nights without a wink of sleep! When she didn't sleep, we couldn't either! It took its toll on us and yes our health too! Then two years ago my wife's kidneys failed and she had six surgeries that year and she was in the hospital 11 times last year! The hospital and doctors got the last of our money! I almost lost her three times. She had two heart attacks and had a stent put in her heart! She is doing better now but is now on dialysis! She was in the hospital 11 times from the first week of January 2017 until Father's Day! Most of those hospital stays were due to fluid overload where her lungs collected fluid and made it hard to breathe! Like I said I almost lost her three times!
In May I was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis, ( a rare autoimmune disease! It can effect your breathing. digestion but mostly effects your muscles! The worst for me so far has been the muscles of my eyes! I had hip replacement surgery scheduled but they cancelled it and said I had to get that under control before I could be put to sleep for the surgery! My right eye all but closed and a few weeks later I found out I have glaucoma and cataracts all during the month of May and early June! I can't afford to have cataract surgery because I will have to pay 20% of the cost! so it will just have to wait! I still see good but have been told it will get worse! I also got herpetic keratitis during May! A very painful but temporary condition in my left eye! It left scars on my eye! I went a couple of weeks where I couldn't see much at all! By the time I got the MG under control it was too close to Santa season to have the surgery! Santa monies went to catching up on Dr bills and paying our deductibles for this year! I had planned on having hip surgery years ago but due to my wife's health issues I put off having surgery until she got better! Now we don't have the money! I was told six years ago I needed to have a total hip replacement but was still working, so I put it off and now it's getting unbearable to walk or to stand for more than a few minutes! The only thing I can do that doesn't hurt my hip is sit! Sleeping is near impossible in a bed! So I sleep in a chair and then for only an hour or two at a time! But now I can't afford to have this surgery done because I will have to pay 20% of the cost!
Then on January 31 of this year my transmission went out in my van! It was our only vehicle! It was my only way to take my wife to dialysis!!! I do not have the money to fix it! The transmission went out in our other vehicle a little over a year ago and now we are without any way of going! My wife has to go to dialysis in another city 14 miles away, three days a week! I have to take her and then come back home, because she is there six to seven hours and then go back and pick her up! Thankfully a few days after the transmission went out, my wife's cousin let us borrow a truck and we now have a way to get her to dialysis! But I would like to get it back to them as soon as possible!
We have enough money (we are both on social security disability) to pay our bills every month as long as my wife's 14 drugs and my five do not fall into the donut hole! I actually do not get my asthma maintenance medicine because it is so expensive! When we fall into a donut hole we do without so we can buy medicine! Last year her Dr gave her samples of two of her drugs!
I am desperate I ask you to help us if you can! Please if God is telling you to help us please contribute!
I need $2000 to fix my van and it looks like I will need $3000 to $5000 to have my hip replacement surgery I need a total of $5000 to $7000! If it is more than that, I'm sure they will let us make payments! After I recover from my hip surgery I will get a part time job to supplement our income to provide all of our needs! Hopefully purchase a better vehicle! We just need help getting over the mess we are in now! We do not have anyone to turn to for help!
Any help you can give no matter how small will be greatly appreciated and I know God will bless you for it!

Thank you in advance,

Denise and Ron Lane (Santa)
