Help Ryan get back on his “feet”

On  the evening of August 22, 2018 Ryan Hatfield was on his way home from work in Joliet IL where he was working as an HVAC Installer for a local company, when he was hit head on by another driver. Ryan was seriously injured but his life was spared. The other driver was not that lucky. Ryan was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet and stabilized. He was transferred that night to Loyola Medical Center so his injuries could be treated. Ryan suffered a compound fracture of his fibula, along with 5 breaks in his fibula, tibia, and a crushed ankle. Ryan had his first of 2-3 surgeries on August 23, 2018. He was sent home to rest on August 24, 2018 and wait for his appointment next  Friday August 31, 2018. At this appointment his next surgery will be scheduled pending swelling at the site. He has been told this is a serious injury and it will be at least a 9-12 month recovery. He was also told he may need to go to a rehabilitation center following his next surgery.  This has come a a huge blow to him. His medical bills will be outrageous for the needed surgeries and recovery  Instead of being able to focus on getting better his energy is spent worring about how he is going to pay for things like medication and food, while keeping a roof over his head with no income for the next 9-12 months. Ryan is always willing to help the next person. This time it is Ryan who needs the help. He is blessed beyond measure to be here and have his family by his side.
