Donations for Donna

Donna Swiney who is a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and care taker has had her health decline in the last few years.  Since 2002 she has been taking care of a child that was abandonded from her parents and was left in Donna's care. Instead of enjoying her life she had to become a mother again to this now 14 year old girl. Within those years our family had to over come a costly house fire in 2009, caused by the 14 year olds father.  Around that time Donna began to develop Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). As well as emphysema which is a condition in which the air sacs of the lungs are damaged and enlarged, causing breathlessness. 

From November of 2016 to July of 2017 Donna has been in and out of the hospital 9 times! This last time the doctors informed her that her COPD has pogressed and that she can no longer can work . They insured that her main focus needs to be her quality of life. Since the begining of July, Donna has been placed in the care of Hospice , which is a home providing care for the sick, especially the terminally ill.

Because Donna has had to stop working she doesn't have nearly the same income that she had before. Her family is asking for any donations that would help her pay for bills, food, and any extra things Donna will need to help prolong her life. She was the main provider for her the child she cares for and her mentally ill son, who both depend on her greatly.
