New London Mutual Aid Collective is a local aid group focusing on providing material aid to those in need in New London County as well as empowering people to survive autonomously and create networks of mutual aid. We are made up of mostly poor workers and students. We are unable to afford much, so we are looking for your help.
This foil roll will make 16 six foot ground cover mats for those sleeping rough in our community. Ground cover is absolutely essential and can be lifesaving. Hypothermia as well as freezing to death is a very real possibility in the northeast. We are asking for your contributions to help us purchase a 100 foot roll of foil insulation to convert them to blankets for distribution at our next giveaway.
