It's time once again for our annual Fill The Wallets/Fill The Bags Homeless Challenge. Our goal is for each and every homeless person to receive a wallet filled with $10 and the hope of a brighter future, along with a backpack filled with daily hygiene products and basic necessities for life.
We now implore you to help give some homeless people the opportunity to participate in the holidays this year. On any given day the local homeless shelter, Opportunity House, feeds, clothes, and houses between 80 and 100 men and women who have fallen on hard times in some manner or another, and this is just one of the shelters we visit each year. The shelters rely on donations from all of us. Won't you please help us achieve our goal of filling 200 wallets and 200 backpacks for those who have less than nothing? Thank you in advance for your help.
