Tia’s Fight with Cancer

To our friends and family, we are coming together to help our beloved Tia who has recently been diagnosed with a rare cancer called leiomyosarcoma cancer.

Leiomyosarcoma is a rare type of cancer that affects smooth muscle tissue. These tumors are most common in the abdomen, but can occur anywhere in the body, including the uterus. Other common sites include blood vessels and skin. 

Tia has already gone through surgery to remove the cancer. Only time will tell if she may need more surgeries in the future. 

Tia has always had such a strong willed personality and has many aspirations in her life. She wishes to pursuit in law in the future. Due to her health and COVID, she has taken a time out from school to focus on her health. We are hopeful that she will beat this evil cancer and live the full life that she deserves.

While Tia is fighting against this battle,we are looking to collect any donation, small or large to alleviate the financial burden that follows such a heartbreaking diagnosis. The donations will go towards her hospital bill, medications, chemo treatment, clinical trials, and other tests.
