Hi Everybody,
My name is Kelvin A. Rivera and I am from Puerto Rico. I was raised by a hard working single mother along with my older sister. My mom has worked really hard her entire life to give my sister and I everything she could. She has even worked multiple jobs to make sure food was always on the table. Thanks to her strong, charismatic, loving, faithful, enthusiastic, and warm personality, I am the person who I am today.
As you may have heard, my beautiful island was hit by a category 5 hurricane, causing my family and I to lose everything. Clothes, furniture, beds, cars, computers, fridge and freezer, washing and drying machines, you name it and they’re gone. The house suffered some damage as well. Doors and some windows also broke because of the pressure of the water and the wind.
Many people who know me know that I hate asking for help, especially if it involves money. However, this is the only way that I will be able to help my mom and my family. At this moment anything helps, from sharing this post to donating any amount of money! I have no goals because I am trying to raise as much as I can. As other members of my family are currently in the same situation. Please once again by you sharing, sending prayers, and donating you will be a big help to my family and I.
Anything to be raised, will be used to buy everything or most of the things that has been lost.
