Nicaragua Mission Trip 2018

Hey friends and family!
I am thrilled to share with you that this summer I have been given the opportunity to serve on a short term mission trip to Nicaragua!
9 years ago was the first time I visited Nicaragua and I realized then what a dire need there was for the people to hear the gospel. In 2015 we received another opportunity to go and the Lord further confirmed on my heart that this was where He wanted to use me.
With both trips I saw what it looked like to live without hope. I saw children being raised in less than poor conditions, scavenging for food in trash dump sites. I saw sick children in orphanages desperate to be held, loved on, and given a simple smile. I saw that this amazing gospel message I have access to has the power to bring joy to people in desperate need of it!
This year, we will minister in the same capacity, as well as expand our ministry to the city of Matagalpa. We will take part in hosting a large soccer tournament that will expose thousands to the gospel message, as well as participate in street evangelism through music, dramas, and sharing our testimonies.
This year as I prepare to go back I have 3 specific requests:
1. Pray for the hearts of the Nicaraguan people to be open to hearing the gospel message.
2. Pray for our team as we seek to connect in order to be effective gospel carriers.
3. Pray for me to have peace as I will be leaving my two children (4 &1) at home while overseas.
Will you please consider sharing this opportunity with me as the Lord leads you to pray and/or give? All funds must be in by May 1st. I can not thank you enough for your willingness to partner with me on this trip.
