Let us tell you a little bit about our nephew, Ernesto Aparicio. He is a handsome, charismatic and charming 13 year old. A New England Patriots diehard fan and an ultimate sports and car fanatic. He is soft spoken, well-mannered and most importantly, has a heart of gold.
Four days before his 13th birthday, doctors discovered a malignant tumor. After a weeklong stay at Miami Children’s Hospital undergoing extensive tests, Erne was diagnosed with a very rare form of Cancer. There are approximately 200 known cases of this type of Sarcoma in the world. He has since begun the first series of chemotherapy treatments and soon to follow, a lengthy surgery. Despite his diagnosis and treatment Erne maintains an admirable positive attitude. His lengthy hospital stays have not brought his spirits down.
You can imagine the anguish his parents, sisters and our family are enduring. His mother had to quit her job to take care of Erne full time and they are trying to do their best to cope financially. As you can understand this illness will impose a financial burden and our goal is to raise as much money as possible to take the financial stress off of Erne's parents.
Our family is spiritually very strong and we pray that the good lord will watch over him and we ask all you to keep Erne in your prayers.
We are trying to set up a medical trust to support his family with medical and long term care expenses. No donation is too small and please help us spread the word to Help Erne and his family.
