Handprints e-NABLE Scotland

We are a society based at the University of Glasgow who 3D print prosthetics for anyone who needs them, both in our local community but also further afield in countries such as Thailand and Pakistan! We also design and make mobility devices for disabled animals, and carry out workshops and talks about engineering, 3D printing and prosthetics in local schools, with an aim of sparking an interest for STEM subjects in younger generations.

We are a fully self funded organisation, and do not charge for any of our products. This allows for our help to reach anyone who needs it, no matter what their financial situation is. Your financial support will be used for buying materials for the prosthetics and mobility devices, covering travel costs for our education team and costs of postage to allow our products to safely reach the people who need them. The money we raise will also allow our volunteers to make advances in our products, by creating prosthetics which are controlled using Myoelectrics, and by creating bespoke attachments to allow greater functionality. This will in turn allow our recipients to live more comfortable lives.

If you want to support our work, you can be sure that the money you donate, no matter how much or how little, it will make a difference to someones life!
