Handicap Accessible Van

Donation protected
My name is Teresa Sandeski. I am wheelchair bound due to having polio as a child. The last few years I have had difficulty with transportation as I have a handicap van that shouldn't be on the road. It has many issues with the electric ramp and the sliding door. I also have had a lot of electrical issues and I have gone through many repairs over the 5/6 years. And our funds have ran dry to try to fix everything. The last seven years we have had medical issues with my husband, my son and myself. From open heart surgery (husband) and my 12-year-old son with a 4 inch blockage and had to have a bypass.. Three years ago I had cancer, but am cancer free to this day. I God every day for being here. There is an organization called Telemiracle, which helps people with disabilities to provide funding. About a year ago we found a van and Telemiracle came through to pay the $18.000 for this van . Once purchased it was delivered to a shop that puts hand controls and six pivot seats so that I could drive it. I was so excited hadn't even had a chance to drive it yet. While we were waiting to get it fixed, police called and said that van had been stolen off the lot and they found it wrapped around a tree completely totalled . Telemiracle got a portion of their money back by the fellow that sold it to me because he also claimed the insurance because he forgot to take plates off. He did return 10,000 from the insurance company. I have once again applied for Telemiracle to help with some grant money. But as of now they have changed their policy, so there is only a certain amount that they could put into a van for me but they are expecting us to pay a percentage of The cost of the van. So once it went before the board I was denied until I can come up with our side of the funding . Our problem is Being on old age Pension, and my husband's old age pension we have struggle as it is. To be able to put any money upfront is next to impossible .So I'm reaching need to all of you for help .
My husband was diagnosed March of this year that he did not have long to live. But he's still fighting for his life every day. I'm needing to get him to doctors appointments, and my part-time job. I have had seven weeks off work, as I had a 2 inch kidney stone That was too big to pass on my own . I have had to have a tube in my back to drain my kidney and keep it from infection. They have shock waved it once and will have to go back and do it again in a couple of weeks. At this point, I am trying to push through to find some funding to get a handicap vehicle. A lot of people would say we've been unlucky. But I don't quite think that way. In times of trouble I've had to lean on what I believe spiritually.(MyGod)
Sometimes it isn't easy, but we're still here and thank God for all he's done for us. This is the one thing I hate doing is Asking for help.
At this point, I have to lay down my pride and please ask for donations to help us out with our van. if you cannot donate it's ok . But please share. I thank you from the bottom of my heart in advance for any donations that can help thank you. We love you all. Teresa.
