Jerry Bentley Memorial Fund

Donation protected
The world lost one of it's kindest souls this past week; Jerry Bentley age 31 died unexpectedly in his sleep from a heart attack. He leaves behind his mother and father, Aida and Michael, 3 sisters, Allison, Angela and Valerie, and countless other family members and friends. What has happened is beyond comprehension and we are all still in shock.

Jerry was like a little brother to me, I have known him since he was 14 years old. Just recently he came up for a weekend to WA to visit my family and "check out Seattle" something he had been wanting to do for years. Those memories are ones that I will forever hold dear in my heart.

Jerry was one of the most selfless individuals that you would have ever had the chance to meet. He never forgot a name, or a birthday, never complained, always was smiling or laughing at some inappropriate joke, making a reference to Beavis and Butthead or the Simpsons or one of the other various ridiculous shows he loved to watch, loved listening to Metal (something that his sisters and I never fully understood), but most of all he just cared. He is the type of person we should all strive to be like and he will forever be missed.

The family has already received so many calls, texts etc from those of you that knew and loved Jerry that we wanted to create a central place for you to find out information on his memorial service. Not only is this a place where you can find out information but for those of you who have expressed interest in helping the family you can click on the donate button.  In lieu of flowers I encourage you to make a donation instead, this will help to ease the burden of funeral/memorial/travel costs for the family in the wake of this tragedy. Any left over funds will be donated in Jerry's honor to Autism Research.

If you are unable to donate, please don't forget that your kind words and memories of Jerry can be left on this page for his loved ones to read. Also, as mentioned above please follow this page for updates on the memorial service that will be held in the early afternoon on October 11th. More information is soon to follow.

If you have any questions, you can send me a message via Social Media or reach out directly, response times may be delayed.
