About me:
I was a homeless addicted Veteran for approximately a decade after my service in the USMC. I knew YAH (The God Most High) but can't truly say that I was living for HIM or walking in HIS Light. I spent time in and out of jails and shelters and relied on the love of Mashiach (Hebrew for Messiah) shown through others. After going through many programs and facilities I finally submitted to the will of the Most High in both my head and my heart. Long story short I finished a one year long intense discipleship program and was asked to intern at the facility. During the internship I was purposefully exposed to all aspect of a Gospel Recuse Mission and guided in my spiritual growth and the day to day logistics of running this type of facility. Upon completion of my internship I was offered a job heading up the mission's newly opened adult education center in which men, if need be, were given remedial classes on academic subjects. Part of my job description was to teach and counsel the men in various areas of Bible study and "life skills". Over a period of a couple of years I was lead to move out of the mission and seek work in the private sector...to go and be a witness into all the world, if you will. Now being a Marine, my heart was always on the front lines and I longed to be back in the trenches, so to speak, serving in the Army of the Living Elohim. Just as The Master went to and helped those that society had deemed unsuitable, less fortunate, worthless, or simply unlovable, I too was given a heart of compassion for these sinners (Now remember that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of YAH so I am no better than these people...for I am one of these people), and just as HE ate at the table with sinners, I too desire to help and feed, both physically and spiritually, those that were dealing with some the very same issues I had faced.
I have grown in my faith I have been convicted by the verse that says, "...that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of YAH." (II Cor 1:4 KJV) Well just as I was comforted by the God of all comfort through others, I now wish to comfort others who are going through some of the same things I had to go through with the very same comfort of YAH that was once shown to me.
About Our Ministry:
First and foremost, our ministry believes that to “Love YHWH our Elohim with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind” (Matt 22:37 KJV) one must show that love toward YAH by being obedient to HIS commandments...for it is written...
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” (John 14:15 KJV)
And...
“Yahusha answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.” (John 14:23-24 KJV)
And also...
“By this we know that we love the children of YAH, when we love YAH, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.” (I John 5:2-3 KJV)
And finally...
“Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matt 5:19 KJV)
So with this all said our ministry is twofold:
First is to teach and to walk out Torah as our Mashiach did so as to be an example, a light into the present darkness of this world. (II Cor 4:6)
Secondly, our ministry has been called to help clothe and feed both physically and spiritual the sheep, whether they be lost or saved, in our local area.
We believe in drawing the lost with bands of love (Hosea 11:4) by providing for their physical needs so that a relationship can be built and nurtured which will stand as a witness to the Love and kindness of Mashiach.
“I led them with cords of kindness, with the bands of love, and I became to them as one who eases the yoke on their jaws, and I bent down to them and fed them.” (Hosea 11:4 ESV)
