Typhoon Hagibis Damage Support

Donation protected
Support the community severely damaged by Typhoon Hagibis (No.19) in Japan.

This campaign was created and organised by one of our mentors who lives in the US on behalf of FRC Team 6909 SAKURA Tempesta. All the donations will be used to help our community.

-Message from FRC Team 6909 SAKURA Tempesta-

We, FRC Team 6909 SAKURA Tempesta, would like to support our hometown Chiba, where typhoon Hagibis, tornado, and a major earthquake that had 5.7 magnitude hit during October 11th to 13th.

Typhoon Hagibis left severe damage in Kanto Region, which includes Chiba, Tokyo, Gunma, Ibaraki, Saitama, Kanagawa, and Tochigi. Many of our members and mentors come from Chiba, Tokyo, Saitama, Kanagawa, and Gunma, and we NEED YOUR HELP.

For more information about the damage caused by Typhoon Hagibis, please read the articles and watch the photos and videos below.

Hagibis blows through Japan (NHK WORLD - JAPAN)

Since the wind speed was 60 meters per second (116.6 knots), there were many houses and buildings of which roofs and roof tiles were blown away and windows were smashed. Such houses are in crucial need of immediate care in order to avoid secondary disasters.

In addition, many of the convenience stores and supermarkets are out of foods since they cannot store any food that requires fridge or refrigerator, many of the food factories are out of order, delivery line is barely working due to bad road conditions, many people have no way to cook, etc. As of 5 pm on October 13th (Japan Standard Time), 72,400 houses in Chiba are out of electricity.

We recognize that this is not something we can do alone, but we really would like to help our community which has been always supportive to us no matter what. Although this is a crowdfunding campaign and we are seeking for monetary support for our community, we would also love to have messages of support from you.

Lastly, PLEASE SAHRE this campaign with your friends, family, and on your social media.

Thank you so much for your generous support.
