My 3 siblings and I are doing this to help my parents, as we might lose our house. On June 4th, my mother had a very severe foot injury which caused her to file for short term disabilty at work. During this claim, her pay has been put on hold till this is approved.
The examiner on her claim is supposed to review all the doctor's notes and determine if this time off should be approved or denied. This process should've only taken 2 weeks, but on July 19th she was FINALLY told that her claim was denied. During this process the examiner, never called her and never provided any update. Unfortunately, her manager was the one to deliver the news of the claim being denied.
As of right now, we are 2 house payments behind. My dad has been working 70 hour weeks to cover what little bills he can, and to make sure his family is fed, until my mom's disability has been approved. The reason we are asking for the $3500 is to take care of those house payments, and any and all gofundme fees. We're afraid of losing this house. My parents have been through a foreclosure before, and it took them 10 years until they could purchase another house. Please help my parents and my 3 other siblings to not go through this again!
