An Unthinkable Loss - Arya Jade Antelo

On November 28, 2021, our friends, Dianelis and Henry Antelo lost their baby girl, Arya Jade, seven days after she was born. Dianelis lovingly carried Arya to full-term and was given perfect health check-ups throughout her pregnancy. There was no indication of any issues, making this even more devastating.

 

It is too early to know exactly how this happened. What we know is that Arya has returned to heaven as an angel baby to watch over all of us. She was fittingly named after the Game of Thrones character Arya who "saves the entire realm" at the end of the story. She fought hard to stay here with us but was called home...

 

We are asking for any assistance to help Dianelis and Henri through this tragic time. They have medical and funeral expenses instead of their baby and its unimaginable. They should have their baby. They should be posting baby pictures and settling in as first-time parents. Instead, they are facing an unthinkable loss and new financial debt. 

Dianelis has dedicated her career and life to helping needy children through her work at Miami Dade College, Take Stock in Children and Big Brothers Big Sisters. For more than a decade, she has gone above and beyond for our community's most deserving children, changing lives one child at a time. 

 

It is now our turn to come together as a community and support the Antelo's during this tragedy.

Cuddled in Heaven

 

We had so little time to share, too soon, I had to leave.

I know how much you love me, I know how much you grieve.

 

I know how sharp your pain is, I feel the aching in your hearts.

My life so quickly ended before it barely had a start.

 

I remember how you held me, and kissed my face and hands.

You cuddled me so gently, but God had other plans.

 

I was your perfect angel, from God you knew I came.

Sadly he called me home again, and now God holds my hand.

 

I know you'll always miss me, I understand your pain is hard to bear.

Just remember that I'm in heaven and we'll see each other there.

 

So smile when you think of me and wipe away all of your tears.

I'm cuddled now in heaven by our family members here.

 

I'm waiting here in heaven and on the day we meet again,

I'll be the first to smile and greet you, when God calls you home to him.
