On July 19, 2018 Alysia Snyder received the devastating news that she had been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Since then, she has had a surplus of testing including a biopsy, mammogram, an ultrasound, a chest X-ray, and an MRI. Then she will begin her first round of chemotherapy on August 14th. After that she will still need surgery and radiation.
Over the last month, Alysia has remained positive, hopeful and resilient. She has managed her many, many doctors appointments, being a single mom to her 13yo son Luke and a loving fur-mama to her 3 cats and 2 dogs, and managing his schedule, as well as working her full time and part time massage jobs and being a new homeowner.
Although we hope she can continue practicing as a LMT as much as possible during the upcoming months of treatment, it is uncertain how much time she will be able to spend at work due to her treatments.
This is where gofundme comes in handy! As her family and friends our goal is to provide Alysia with as much support as we can through this insanely difficult time.
