Jameson's battle with leukemia

On 2/16/15, Brandon Scheib (Clarkston) took his 5 year old son Jameson to the family pediatrician for what appeared to be a skin rash. The resulting diagnosis is one of the scariest words in the English language for anybody to hear about a loved one especially a child, CANCER.  Specifically, Jameson and the Scheib family are facing a rare form of cancer called Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia.  5 year old Jameson immediately started aggressive chemotherapy which is scheduled to extend out as far as 36 months. He is currently at The Detroit Medical center having kidney stones removed caused by this disease.  Along with the chemotherapy, Jameson’s treatment requires regular blood transfusions, bone marrow transplants and a daily regiment of prescription drugs to combat this terrible disease.  The length of the scheduled therapy coupled with the extremely high costs associated with the treatment is going to place a very heavy financial burden on the Scheib family.

      Jameson is a happy, tough, energetic young boy who is facing his battle with the maturity and confidence of a grown man. With the love, support and prayers from Scheib family and friends there is no doubt 5 year old Jameson will win this long and painful battle. Jamison has his end covered but we are reaching out for donations to help us reach our goal of $250,000. All donations will go directly to the medical bills and associated treatments for young Jamison. Any and all left over funds not consumed by the medical expenses will be donated back to others on this site who are reaching out for financial help.
