Diaspora Community Services is a social support service agency that empowers families and individuals to maximize their abilities to succeed through culturally sensitive health promotion, family support services and advocacy.

"Our clients at Diaspora Community Services are active participants in changing their lives for the better. Whether they are managing their health, going back to school, or preparing for a new job, sometimes there is a need for extra help. However, many of our programs do not support our clients' emergency needs, which in turn adversely affects their ability to access services. This may come in the way of a bag of groceries, new backpacks for the school year, or even help with keeping the lights on. We have developed the Client Fund to act as a safety net for these small but often very needed expenses."
