Warrior Is/Scar Leg Projects

Harley and Robin, as co-authors of "Warrior Is", are presently devoted to pursuing their dream of making their Great Grandfather’s life story into a major movie, and have been working on finalizing the screenplay.  The fact that this story is the one and only historical biography of the Lakota warrior who took Custer’s life, will draw widespread interest, as it is portrayed through the eyes and the spirit of Mato Niyanpi.  Harley and Robin and their family also are devoted to the dream and plan to immediately establish, build, and operate a cultural camp in the sacred He Sapa (Black Hills) so that the cultural, traditional, and spiritual aspects of life on Unci Maka (Grandmother Earth) can be shared, taught to and learned by people from all backgrounds, all origins, all nations and all beliefs worldwide.

Come join us in heart and spirit, and become part of our tiospaye in seeking a better world for us all, in honor of our ancestors and the Circle of Life, in peace, unity, tolerance and love.

There is also an immediate need for the services of a caretaker for animals in the event Harley and Robin find a need to embark upon their first real book tour for "Warrior Is".  Should you wish to contribute in such a way, we obviously would need someone who is  dependable, honest, physically capable to haul food and water, and able to travel.

Should someone wish to donate their services to one or more of our planned projects, we welcome any ideas in that regard, such as carpenters, animal caretakers, painters, drivers, plumbers, excavators, engineers, medical professionals, musicians, song writers, media consulting/technicians, etc. Again, we would require that you be willing to travel,  to work hard, be honorable and reliable, be physically capable of the work, and be willing to devote the time to complete the necessary work.

Thank you for your generosity, kindness, and your interest in our Great Grandfather’s life story, and the spiritual journey of Mato Niyanpi and his people in seeking to protect and preserve the Circle of Life and Unci Maka, in the name and spirit of peace, unity, tolerance, and love.
