I am looking to find a new way to make an honest living as a journalist and writer, in this day and age when everything is online and most of it is free! Just as musicians went through challenges when they could no longer sell albums/cd's etc, so writers and journalists especially online are struggling to find ways to do what they do best and make a living at it. I have ALWAYS been averse to advertising, mostly due to a conscientious Headmaster who warned of the perils of its misuse, and I do NOT feel comfortable with the current way of earning as in MONETISING work so that random advertising can be attached to it and one can earn a paltry 7 euro per 1,000 views etc, although people like our local SINGING PRIEST whose launch went 50 million hits and rising may wish he had that monetised! BESIDES THAT I AM A CHRISTIAN, AND DESPITE ALL THE ABUSE THERE HAS BEEN OF THE PROSPERITY MESSAGE, I have found from 30 years of research hands on that giving and receiving works, sowing and reaping, seed time and harvest...it is just GOOD to give SOMETHING of your weekly income away, where ever you feel led, even if it is pennies.....it TEACHES us that money is only a barter tool, it is MEANT to flow, not wither in our hands by us holding on tightly imagining it is our SECURITY or IDENTITY etc So this is my new venture.....anyone who gives into my journalism and activism work through this forum will be on a mailing update list where you will see my work on a daily basis and hot off the presses. Much will be in the form of YOUTUBE videos but also writing and sharing the work of others....even if 100 out of the planet's 7 billion plus inhabitants become monthly partners with me in the work I do, this will allow me to pay the bills, and do what I do best....which is to write, to advocate especially for an end to child sexual abuse, to lobby, to empower and to inspire. If YOU would like to join me on this exciting NEW way of buying your daily paper/weekly magazine, or just doing your part to make a difference in the world....please donate weekly, monthly or in a one off gift. You will then be on my mailing list and we will be connected in a PRACTICAL way that is real.....WHERE YOUR TREASURE IS, THERE YOUR HEART IS ALSO....or in modern lingo, giving legs to our passion, walking the walk not just talking the talk etc :) I am a graduate of The University of Warwick in English, French and American Literature & Theatre. I am a published journalist and writer and did post-graduate studies under Maurice Sweeney the then Features Editor of The Irish Times. I spent five years living and training in California in Life Skills and Management, Communication, Mastery of Empowerment etc and speak 3 languages fluently as well as a couple conversatationally. On a personal level I am a surviver and overcomer of child sexual abuse, covert post WW2 medical research and no consent experiments and what is broadly called MKULTRA. I write and vlog on family dysfunction, mind control, finding a voice, de programming from false concepts that limit us, full self-expression, reaching our potential and fulfilling dreams and destinies....staying ALIVE and all things native and important to the nature of being HUMAN no matter how rich/poor, successful or stuck we may be... I love humour. I love Jesus tho not RELIGION especially the organised kind that has brutalised so many....and I have a wacky sense of humour that is a survival tool as well as an innate sense of comedy and comic timing.... JOIN ME ON THE ADVENTURE IF YOU CAN AND LETS MAKE EVERY DAY COUNT GOOD, BAD AND AGONY....we never know how many more we have LOVE AND RESPECT AS WELL AS IRREVERENCE ANGIE POWER-DISNEY p.s. I put a million as the goal of this fund raiser rather tongue in cheek with the song WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE I DO ringing in my ears and I can promise you no matter what I earn it will be to share to finance and to make a difference with transparancy and accountability.....my INTERIM goal is to be able to transition from full time Carer for my youngest son with a visual impairment to part time to eventually seeing him need NO carer and myself despite my late blooming again age independantly working again as a writer and journalist ....a minimum of about 1,200 euro MONTHLY would get me on my feet...(800 sterling or 1,300 dollars) but this is an experiment so lets see what happens! A core group of 10 sowing a weekly 30 euro... or 100 sowing 3 or one mentor/svengali saying GO FOR IT We shall see......mostly I want people to grasp the GIVING thing more than be embarrassed, guilt tripped or grandiose in supporting this new way of working and consuming! I have found it really IS more blessed to give than receive, and if we do it consciously it really DOES come back to us multiplied....CAST YOUR BREAD UPON THE WATERS AND IT WILL RETURN TO YOU Videos to follow....looking forward to PARTNERS in a new adventure. Find me on facebook under ANGELA POWER DISNEY or on either of my two youtube channels ANGELA POWER-DISNEY and ANGIE POWER DISNEY and THANKYOU for taking the time to read this...did I say I love JESUS?? I promise not to Bible bash or be preachy but have to say HE LOVES YOU TOO!
