"Lane"/Simba kitten surgery fund
Donation protected
Aloha Everyone,
Right before hurricane Lane hit Hawaii, I found a kitten wedged in the engine bay of my neighbors vehicle. After rescuing the kitten, I noticed bruising in his groin area. I bathed him and found him a foster(Courtney Yanovitch). We then noticed that he had a severe limp in his back left leg and took him to the veterinarian. They performed X-ray imaging and discovered that his femur was broken completely in half, and that he requires a very pricey surgery. "Lane"(named after the hurricane)/Simba(hes so special he has two names!) was a feral cat without a microchip or owner, and we are his only hope for a healthy and happy life. He is in extreme pain, and will be until we can get him into surgery, and we require the funds to do so. We are paying for what we are able, however, the surgery is nearly $3000. He has a sweet demeaner and would love to be able to run around and play with his new family, after he is healthy. We plan to find him a loving home once he is back in "tip top" shape.
Mahalo from Lane/Simba, to everyone who is able to help or share his story!
*note* If by some miracle, we raise more than we require for Lane's healthcare, we will use the excess money to help another needy animal or donate to our local animal rescue.
Give $25 to help this fundraiser reach its target.
