"You, Me, and the City"

Let me start by introducing myself.  My name is Kona Blue and I am a filmmaker in my final year at San Francisco State University.  I am currently enrolled in the Film Thesis class which is a year-long course that tasks us with writing, producing, filming, editing, and distributing a short film throughout the year.  

My movie, "You, Me, and the City," is first and foremost a true story!  It is a romantic slice-of-life film about a girl named Lyra, an San Francisco native with enormous pride and love for her city, and a boy named Toby who is falling in love with SF for the first time.

As Lyra and Toby explore the city, they bond over their mutual love for their home and, at the same time, expose their feelings towards each other.  They learn that the adventure of exploring love is akin to that of exploring a new place and finding out its secrets.

Your contributions will primarily be used for production costs including:
- Rental van for crew and equipment transportation
- Casting costs
- Camera lens
- Props and Wardrobe
- Craft services

Anything left over will go towards post-production costs such as film festival submission fees.  With your help, this movie could be submitted to film festivals nationwide!

We are planning on shooting the week of November 12(Veteran's Day) so we hope to have sufficient funds raised by then so that we can reserve everything we need and be ready for the first day on set.

I can speak for everyone on our crew when I say that we are all extremely grateful for everyone who is able donate any amount of money to our project.  We are confident that we will create a truly beautiful film.
