"Dear friend ,You are not alone"

Hello !!
We all ‘ve been going through hard times and, unfortunately, this time one of my best friends is experiencing part of the worst. She Is in big need right now ,I would like to tell you a little bit about her:

My friend is a 37 year old single mother of two boys under 12 years old. She is going through   separation from a very toxic relationship and as she was looking for an apartment for her family, she was scammed. This is the absolute worse time possible considering the COVID-19 pandemic and the fact that she is in Los Angeles CA. She was scammed by a property manager impersonator who chose to use COVID-19 as a perfect excuse to avoid any personal contact with her. This made it even easier to succeed in his horrific act. They took all of the money she had, promising an apartment that they never delivered. Now she and her children are about to be homeless and I simply can’t let that happen. She does not have any resources or family to help her. I reside in Illinois and cannot be there to help her. I’m reaching out to all of you in hopes that you may understand or imagine what they are going through and lend a helping hand.
