"Around The World" Read-A-Ton

Donation protected
Dear Readers,

Hi! I am Chef Justyn The Traveling Toddler and I am hosting my annual “Around the World" Read-A-Thon on Sunday, November 8 – Tuesday, November 10, 2020.

In recognition of National Book Month, I am looking to partner with young readers at home, in homeschool groups, and in classrooms to help me accomplish a few fun goals.

1. Collectively, read books over three (3) days.

2. Spread awareness and increase literacy among children and families.

3. Raise $2,000.00 for young entrepreneurs and homeless kids and teens.

We have readers joining us from Africa, Middle East, Europe, and North America. I would love to have your participation, too!

Every reader will receive a certificate of participation, signed by me, Chef Justyn The Traveling Toddler.

The Around the World Read-A-Thon is a fun, family and community activity that will encourage literacy and service learning! How exciting!

Thanks and I‛ll read with you soon,

Chef Justyn

CRN Eglise Centrale is the church my daddy and momma attended while living in Central Africa. My daddy was born in Central Africa (Gabon), momma and daddy got married in Gabon, and lived there for several years before moving back to America and having ME! Every year around Thanksgiving and Christmas the ministry gives food, toiletries toothbrush, toothpaste, combs, brushes, toys, and other gifts to homeless and foster kids and teens. We aim to help support the church and it mission work during this time. This year we would like at add books as a part of this giving program. Thanks for your support.

Project 150  started in December 2011, when they learned that the Clark County School District has an overwhelming number of homeless teenagers attending school. The issue was highlighted in a local TV news report that focused on 150 homeless students attending Rancho High School. The shock over this seemingly hidden reality for over 7,500 students in the Las Vegas Valley created a buzz among a network of friends and business colleagues. Their Mission is to offer support and services to homeless high school students in the Southern Nevada area so they can stay in school through graduation and build a successful future.
