QUOIR T-SHIRT FUND

As you may or may not know QUOIR GLASGOW is a brand new queer choir based in Glasgow’s Southside. We had our first meeting in March 2019 and already have almost 40 regular members who attend every week.

As well having well attended rehearsals we’ve also been invited to perform at some major events such as MARDIGLA: GLASGOW’S PRIDE, EAST KILBRIDE PRIDE and the inaugural PROUD SCOTLAND AWARDS where we’re nominated in the COMMUNITY EXCELLENCE category. 

The downside to all this instant success is that we currently have no funding whatsoever. Everything is currently paid for by co-founders Ryan and Ellen. 
For our debut performance at the PROUD SCOTLAND AWARDS we’d love to have t-shirts made with our logo on them.

Due to financial hardship that a lot of members of the queer community face it’s not possible for all our members to pay for t-shirts so we’d love to raise the funds ourselves so we can provide everyone with a QUOIR t-shirt that we can wear them with PRIDE!

We have a company run by a member of the Queer community in Belfast called LITTLE MS. TEES, who specialise in creating Pride-inspired t-shirts, who will create the t-shirts for us. 

Any additional money raised or left over will be put into our discretionary travel fund which will pay for the travel of our members if they’re paying £5 or over to get to our rehearsals.
