Quinto’s Heart Surgeries

Donation protected
I took my brother to the emergency room at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio on Wednesday  March 21st, where they ran tests and saw that he was experiencing a dissection of the aorta serious enough to take his life. That night ran into the morning where they flew him to Houston, the only place where they have the best doctors in the country for his situation with his condition. The tests came to show that the surgeon could not fix the dissection without repairing his leaky mitral valve first. Otherwise, his chances of surviving his other surgery were minimal. Now 2 weeks later he’s healing from the first surgery and still hospitalized. Our family is here giving him emotional and physical support that he needs. Things would be different if we were in our hometown where we have our own beds and resources, but the Lord has a plan. Unfortunately, our resources are being depleted quickly. We will be grateful for any monetary assistance. We plan to use this on housing, traveling back and forth as needed, food, daily parking fees and other related cost to his stay out here. Nurses tell us recovery could be as short as 10 days or as long as 6 months, anything is appreciated. The next surgery has no date yet. If Gods willing we’ll have some kind of approximate timeline of when the next surgery will be by the end of the week.
