<div>Vor 48 Jahren an diesem Tag, am 3. November 1975, öffnete der <strong>erste Frauenbuchladen Deutschlands in München seine Türen – Lillemor's</strong>. Im Juli diesen Jahres sollten seine Türen für immer schließen. Da wurden wir hellhörig: Solch ein wichtiger historischer Ort wie dieser soll endgültig von der Bildfläche verschwinden? Wieder einmal soll ein selbstorganisierter, lokaler, politisch engagierter Buchladen für immer die Türen schließen? Und das in Zeiten, in denen es Feminismus dringender denn je braucht?

<div>Wir möchten, dass Lillemor’s Erbe in München weiterlebt! <strong>München braucht diesen Ort</strong>, <strong>an dem feministische, queere, diversere, inklusivere Geschichten zu finden sind</strong>. Einen Ort, an dem umrahmt von feinen Büchen Zukünfte geschmiedet und Gemeinschaften wachsen können. <strong>Deswegen gründen wir an Lillemor’s altem Ort die neue queerfeministischen Buchhandlung </strong><a href="https://glitchbookstore.de" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>glitch</strong></a>.

<div>Mit glitch wollen wir den Ungerechtigkeiten der Welt und dem anonymen One-Click-Onlinehandel eine<strong> lokal verankerte, im Kollektiv organisierte, nicht gewinnmaximierende Buchhandlung </strong>entgegensetzen. Wir wollen einen Begegnungsraum schaffen, den wir nach solidarischen und feministischen Prinzipien mit Lesungen, Workshops, Kunst und Kaffee und der ein oder anderen Überraschung bespielen.

<div>Seit Samstag, 25.11., haben wir geöffnet und auch schon Bücher im Regal (Riesiges Danke an alle Spender*innen!), doch Mietkaution, Großhandelskaution und Gründungskosten von Notarin bis Kassensystem sitzen uns weiterhin im Nacken.

<div>Können wir mit euch den Startschuss hinbekommen, ohne einen Kredit aufzunehmen? Ob Spende oder Mund-zu-Mund Propaganda, macht Wirbel für uns! Helft uns, den Ungerechtigkeiten und patriarchalen Zumutungen des Alltags etwas entgegensetzen und ein Stück wichtiger feministischer Geschichte zu bewahren und – mit neuem Leben zu füllen. <div><strong>A queerfeminist bookstore for Munich - help us keep the legacy of Germany's first women's bookstore alive! </strong>

<div>48 years ago on this day, November 3, 1975, the <strong>first women's bookstore in Germany opened its doors in Munich - Lillemor's.</strong> In July 2023, its doors were about to close for good. This gave us the shivers: Should an important historical place like this really disappear from the scene? Should yet another self-organized, politically committed bookshop close its doors for good? Should feminism be on the retreat instead of growing?

<div><strong>We want Lillemor's legacy to live on in Munich! </strong>Munich needs this place where feminist, queer, diverse, inclusive stories can be found. A place where, framed by fabulous books, futures and communities are forged. <strong>That's why we are launching the new queerfeminist bookstore <em>glitch</em> at Lillemor's old location</strong>.

<div>With <em>glitch</em>, we want to challenge the injustices of the world and anonymous, exploitative one-click- online-shopping with a <strong>locally anchored, collectively organized, queerfeminist bookshop</strong> <strong>not geared at profit maximization</strong>. Based on principles of solidarity, we want to create a communal space that we can use and offer for readings, workshops, art and coffee.

<div>We want to open the doors on 25.11. in Barer Straße in Munich. <strong>But we're still missing important things – above all the books that shall fill the shelves, but also other essentials such as a wheelchair ramp, a coffee machine and some key pieces of furniture.</strong> We would like to get <em>glitch</em> off the ground without taking out a loan. For this, we need your help – whether as a donation or as word-of-mouth propaganda for our campaign! Help us to tackle the injustices and patriarchal impositions of everyday life and preserve a piece of important feminist history - and fill it with new life. THANKS SO MUCH, you are awesome.
