<div>Für den <strong>studentischen Kurzfilm „KAYA“</strong> von der <strong>Kunsthochschule für Medien</strong> suchen wir dringend Unterstützung. Der Dipolm-Film von <strong>Yonca Sicimoglu</strong> ist seit acht Jahren in der Mache und wurde bereits im Frühling und im laufenden Sommer produziert, gefördert durch die <strong>Film- und Medienstiftung NRW</strong>. Gedreht wurde bereits in<strong> Rom und im August steht der Dreh in Köln und Umgebung an.</strong>

<div>Doch mit <strong>„KAYA“</strong> möchten wir nicht nur eine Geschichte erzählen, sondern auch die Art hinterfragen, <strong>wie Filme produziert werden</strong>.

<div>Wir sind ein <em>FLINTA-geführtes Team</em>*, das aktiv versucht, veraltete <strong>Strukturen im Film aufzubrechen</strong>. Statt klassischer Produktionsweisen setzen wir auf <strong>kollektives Arbeiten, gegenseitige Verantwortung und solidarische und politisierte Strukturen</strong>.

<div>Dafür arbeiten wir zum Beispiel mit einer <strong>Awareness-Person</strong>, die den gesamten Drehprozess begleitet – für Schauspieler*innen und Crew gleichermaßen – und entwickeln neue Konzepte, die ein <strong>achtsames, gemeinschaftliches Arbeiten</strong> ermöglichen.

<div><strong>Worum geht es?</strong>
</div>
<div>KAYA – eine deutsch-türkische Regisseurin – ist nach einer Theaterproduktion allein in Rom und stellt sich ihrer Scham und dem Gefühlschaos. Der Vorwürf an KAYA: sie sei nicht dazu berechtigt gewesen, die Geschichte ihrer Mutter zu exotisieren. Aus der Distanz muss KAYA ihre Fehler reflektieren und suchtzwischen Ruinen des antiken Roms und ihrer zähen Einsamkeit Erlösung im queeren Nachtleben der zeitlosen Metropole.

<div><strong>Warum brauchen wir eure Hilfe?</strong>
</div>
<div>Unser Budget ist sehr knapp – und mit insgesamt 16 Drehtagen (davon 8 in Rom und 8 in Köln) stehen wir vor großen Herausforderungen. Besonders die Reisekosten für unser Team und unsere Technik nach Rom sowie die Verpflegungskosten vor Ort sind schwer zu stemmen.
