Queenswood's Anti-Bullying Campaign

Tax deductible
Bullying can have a profound impact on someone's emotional well-being, academic ability, dreams and aspirations as well as their overall physical and mental health and is something that we need to bring an end to.

Here at Queenswood bullying is something we feel very strongly about so therefore with anti-bullying week commencing on Monday the 16th of November, Lara and I as the Well- being and Charity Prefects have decided that as a school we are going to raise money for the bullies out charities.

Bullies Out provide e-mentoring support as well as innovative, engaging and interactive anti-bullying workshops and training programmes. These are developed to reduce bullying in schools and the workplace; change attitudes and behaviours, recognise and respect difference, understand impact and consequences and raise confidence and self-esteem. They achieve this by delivering empowering youth engagement programmes that encourage young people to take a stand against bullying and make a difference in their communities.

On Monday to raise awareness for anti bullying week please join us in making a £1 contribution to wear odd socks at school for the day. If not socks then a small donation would be very much appreciated.

If you want to find out more about the charity we are supporting then please have a look into their website - https://bulliesout.com/what-we-do/
