Son necesarios 2000 dólares con urgencia para iniciar el tratamiento que la puede salvar y no disponen de tanto dinero a corto plazo. Su padre está preocupado pero tiene fe en que Dios hará un camino y no cesa de pedir ayuda.
El padre, Idubbe Amos, se dedica a cuidar de los niños de un orfanato situado en Mubende, Kasambya (región central) en Uganda. Recibe ayuda económica periódica de un ministerio cristiano en USA, con una cuota nominal que se destina a comida y necesidades básicas de estos niños, pero sin capacidad para cubrir necesidades especiales.
Me dice (lunes 28 julio) cuando le pregunto qué dicen los médicos de Elizabeth: "tiene dificultad para respirar, comer, tos con sangre, está muy cansada. La medicación prescrita si se le da a tiempo se curará pero si no lo más probable es que muera."
