Die Hunde und Katzen kommen oftmals aus prekären Situationen. <strong>Sie wurden ausgesetzt, aus widrigen Haltungsbedingungen beschlagnahmt oder hatten Unfälle / sind krank.</strong>

<div>Sie landen auf verschiedenem Wege in unserem Tierheim bei Mostar, dem Streunerdorf. Entweder werden sie vor unserer Tür abgeladen, wie nicht mehr benötigte Klamotten, oder sie werden von aufmerksamen Menschen, den Behörden oder der Feuerwehr gebracht.

<div>Da wir bei den meisten der Tiere nicht sichergehen können, ob sie Krankheiten haben, müssen sie zunächst in Quarantäne. <strong>Unsere bisherige Quarantäne ist viel zu klein und bietet nicht die räumlichen und technischen Möglichkeiten, die wir eigentlich benötigen würden.</strong> Es muss der gleiche Hochdruckreiniger wie im übrigen Streunerdorf verwendet werden, die gleiche Futtermittelküche genutzt und die gleiche Waschmaschine bedient werden. Das sorgt selbst bei größter Sorgfalt für das Risiko, dass unsere gesunden Schützlinge sich bei kranken Artgenossen anstecken.

<div>Das möchten wir nun unbedingt ändern! Der Bauplatz direkt außerhalb vom Streunerdorf ist bereits geebnet, <strong>jetzt brauchen wir dringend das Geld, um mit dem Bau einer neuen Quarantänestation zu beginnen!</strong> Das neue Gebäude soll 80m² haben, eine gut ausgestattete Ambulanz, drei große Quarantänezimmer, ein eigenes Lager und eine eigene Küche beinhalten. Dadurch können kranke Tiere komplett separat von unseren gesunden Schützlingen gepflegt und aufgepäppelt werden, bevor sie in unsere Gruppen WG's integriert werden.
