Quadstick and gaming PC for disabled gamer

Hello, my name is Trellis Blanton. I'm a 34-year-old man from Mississippi. I suffer from Arthrogryposis, an illness which has fused all of my joints together since birth, leaving me wheelchair-bound. I also suffer from a type of degenerative muscle dystrophy. Despite the challenges I have had growing up and continue to face, I have not let these things hold me back in life and I do not intend to start now.

 

Gaming is one of my passions. Being wheelchair-bound, it has allowed me to explore the world and put myself into the shoes of those leading lives I could only dream of. Due to my illness, it has been incredibly difficult to play traditional games, but I have always found a way!

 

Most recently, I used to play games by laying on the floor and using my two fingers and face with a regular controller, but last December a shoulder surgery took away the usage of those fingers and I can no longer play games by conventional means.

 

Luckily there are options out there that will allow me to game again such as the Quadstick (http://www.quadstick.com). Unfortunately, the device and peripherals needed for it to operate, along with the computer I would need to play again are expensive and I have very little income.

 

Gaming isn't the only reason I'd want the Quadstick in my life. I plan on going back to school to finish my master's degree, and that kind of mouth controller would help me a lot over these next four years.

 

Needless to say, this equipment would change my life in ways I can hardly dare to dream of. With your help, I can make those dreams a reality! Even if it's just a prayer, I would still be happy because I know all things are possible through Jesus Christ.
