Help a Friend w/Muscular Dystrophy

My name is Tammy Walsh, and my lifelong friend, Lisa DiForte, was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy many, many years ago.  As you may know, there is still no cure for this disease.  While she is able to get around with a walker still to some extent, she needs a chair lift so that she can get out of the house.  The one she has does not go far enough and there is a curve, so a new one needs to be installed.  After many months of fighting with the insurance company, they will not pay.  So, this incredible person, at 50 years old, is confined to her house.  Think about that.  You are 50 years old and you can't leave, because insurance will not pay any portion of the cost to give you what freedom you may have left.  I NEED YOUR HELP!  Lisa obtained a loan to get this installed so she can have a life again, but how do you pay a $20,000 loan on Social Security disability?  It just isn't feasible.  

I would be so thankful for absoultely any donation you can make.  Have an idea for a fundraiser?  A yard sale, a bake sale, a raffle - anything you can think of -  I would be more than happy to help!  All money raised will go directly to the cost of this chair lift.
