FUND MY FARM

My name is Ade Nche Jerith from the village of Widikum, located in the north west region of Cameroon. I was born and raised in Cameroon, and today I live here with my wife and three children. Because of the unrest that has been occurring for the past several years which has directly impacted my family and the community which I live, I decided that it was in the best interest of my family's health and safety that I'd try to relocate. In 2017, I attempted to relocate to the USA to create a better life for my family. Upon seeking asylum, which I knew was going to be a lengthy an uncertain process, I was held in detention in Texas for about 3 years while my asylum case was being processed. Unfortunately, after my final hearing, I was denied asylum and returned to Cameroon at the end of 2019. Since returning to Cameroon, I have been working in various small jobs in an effort to make a living and support my family which is hardly enough to put food on the table, and pay the fees for my children's education.
Because of these circumstances, I've decided to start a small farming business. My goal is to establish a poultry farm on a land I own where I have the potential to raise up to 3000 chickens. In advance of establishing and building the farm infrastructure, I've been studying farming/agriculture and working occasionally at a local poultry farm.
Creating this opportunity will afford myself the independence to run my own business and provide more stable resources to raise my children and support my family, as well as offering poultry to the larger community. Since I returned to Cameroon, I've found a way to co-exist within the community, and I am committed to making the best life I can here for my family.
While I do not have the personal resources to start this on my own , I am beyond grateful for any contribution you can make towards reaching my goal, and blessed to have this opportunity and your support.
