My sweet dog Pixel hurt his leg on Sunday. He was romping around and chasing a stick down a hill when he slipped on a muddy patch. In doing this, he ruptured his CCL (the dog version of the ACL). Since then he has not been able to put a lot of weight on his leg and is in a lot of pain.
He needs to get surgery to repair this as soon as possible or else he will have permanent damage.
However, the surgery will cost $2600 which beyond what me and Marissa can afford. Also, because we need to get this surgery as soon as possible, any sort of pet insurance won’t kick in until it is too late.
I hate to reach out like this but me and Marissa are at the end of our rope. Our dog's quality of life is at stake.
