Riley isn’t just our dog , she’s like our child. Same with her brother, Cash. They are our world.

If you know Riley, you know how much energy and joy she brings. She’s goofy, playful, and always manages to make us smile. But she also has the sweetest, snuggly side that not everyone gets to see. She has a way of knowing exactly when you need a cuddle or a silly moment to make your day better. She’s truly one of a kind.

Recently, Riley tore the cruciate ligament in her left knee (like tearing an ACL in a human). Right now, she can’t bear weight on her left hind leg and isn’t allowed to run or play , which is heartbreaking to watch. She’s on pain meds to help, but the only way to truly help her is surgery.

Even though we have insurance, this surgery isn’t covered. We’ve been saving what we can, but on our own it will take a long time, and every day we see her struggle breaks our hearts. Riley is such a bright light in our lives, and seeing her limited and in pain is one of the hardest things we’ve faced.

We don’t like asking for help, but Riley means everything to us. If you’re able to donate or even just share this, it would mean the world. Every little bit will go directly toward her surgery and recovery so she can get back to running, playing, and making us laugh like only she can.
