Frankie's Fund

Hi everyone,

Recently, I was given the opportunity to write my first one woman show. The show, titled "Becoming Frankie" was accepted into the New York New Works Theater Festival. It's a show about a young woman who's never felt comfortable in her own skin. She stumbles upon an unlikely path to self-discovery - stripping. It's a quirky, vulnerable, not-so-typical story about a woman learning to love herself. I'm ecstatic, to say the least, considering I came up with the idea and wrote the thing in one day (technically about 19 hours but who's counting).

BUT - with any production comes monetary needs. I have a LOT of work ahead of me, including putting together press packets, promotional photos/videos, hiring a lighting designer, hiring a set designer, hiring a house crew, paying my director, etc. Even though I'm the only actress/singer in the production and I don't have to worry about paying other cast members, there's still a ton of things be done. This theater thing is hard work, y'all.

That's where you guys come in! Any amount of money you're available to donate is greatly appreciated. I wish I was a millionaire and could fund my own productions, but alas, I'm not. Gotta start somewhere!

It's my dream to be creating my own art and having it get recognition, and you'd be fueling that dream. I want to make this production the best it can possibly be because the people it's going to be in front of are top dogs in the entertainment industry. If they like my work, it has the potential to go places. Which means I'll have the potential to go places. And... I wanna go places.
