Hi! I’m martha and in 3 weeks i will be cutting my hair and donating it to the little princess trust! Aswell as donating my hair, I’m also raising money to donate to the trust which will help to provide real-hair wigs to children and young people. I know that my hair plays a massive role in my self-image and identity and so I feel very privileged that I am in a position where I get to donate it to a cause more important than my own! This is an important cause to me as my auntie lost her hair to cancer treatment in 2002. Her hair was really important to her and for her to lose it was devastating. Fortunately, she was able to get a wig! This helped her confidence and restored some normalcy and hope back into her life as she could feel more like herself. My goal is to give a little girl the same hopeful and happy feeling that my auntie was able to have :)
