Donations to children of Eastern Africa

Hello everybody, my name is Ryan Powers and I am trying to raise money to help pay for the cost of international shipping fees by the US postal service. I am currently deployed and I have made several Facebook posts asking for donations to be sent to my location. During my time out here, I had the opportunity to visit an orphanage in North-Eastern Africa. Meeting these children and seeing how they live in these impoverished conditions has pushed me to try and make a difference, and so far it is going great. I have received over 30 boxes containing sneakers, shirts, shorts, and other much needed supplies, and have organized and sent them to a couple of different orphanages throughout the North-Eastern Africa region. I have covered all fees that come along with sending these donations so far. I have made a friend in Kenya who works with the less fortunate children of the country and I have several boxes to send him. To send any package to Kenya, the standard rate is $450 per 70lbs... yes, very expensive. I have 7 boxes filled with donations that will be sent there. I started this gofundme because I do not make enough money to pay for this large shipment and I really want to help these kids get some clothes on their backs and sneakers/sandals on their feet. I will provide receipts and pictures of the entire process, including when the children receive the donations. Thank you to everybody who has donated clothing/sneakers so far and thank you in advance to everyone for helping me with this!! Anything will help and these children will be more grateful than you can imagine.
