End food Poverty

We at Kelvin Grove & Eliot Bank Children and Family Centre have been running our Food Bank for 2 years now, and in that time we have seen the numbers of families attending increase.

In the last 6 months we have managed to support over 300 families with food parcels.  Covid 19 has played a huge impact in the increase in numbers attending the Food Bank and we hope to make sure that no adult has to choose to feed either themselves or their child.

Food poverty is something that we hope we can eradicate over time but for now we need to continue to help feed the most vulnerable people in our communities, we aim to make sure no one goes hungry.

In order to continue our work and support the most vulnerable families in our area we would like to raise money that will go directly into buying extra food items e.g. fresh meat, chicken pasta and small treats for the children.

Thank you for your continued support it is much appreciated and we would not be able to do it with out you all.
