Help my Dad beat cancer
Donation protected
My dad was diagnosed with metastatic squamous cancer of the neck only a couple of weeks ago. He just moved his entire life 3 hours away, and I'm in the midst of transitioning jobs, so it couldn't possibly have been less conveniently timed.
Long story short, my father within the last 2 months, got health insurance for the first time in years. As we all know just how affordable health insurance, they refuse to pay for treatments of any kind until he pays his deductible of $3,500. I guess that's the dollar amount for my dad's life to United Health. Simply put, he hasn't had the CHANCE to pay them their outrageous deductible yet, because he just changed jobs and just got the insurance. My dad could very well die because he didn't have almost $4,000 put aside for cancer he could have never expected.
I'm not one for begging, so I'm only asking for the bare minimum of what he needs to pay his deductible. We will hard charge the rest as a family, but we can't do anything until the ball is rolling.
